Back to life, Back to REALITY

So Chinese New Year has come and gone. Next public holiday would be Good Friday.Geez that's a damn bloody long time more eh?! But considering how fast time flies, it'd be here in no time. And next thing you know..I'm another year older!!! F@$#!@#%sd#$@KKKKK!! (pardon my french!).

I just got back from dinner at U.Erics. Abit quiet today as Eric Jnr was missing in action. I did however meet this really really cute old lady. She's about 80 years old. A typical nonya woman. She was randomly talking to me, coz I think no one was really paying attention to her and I HAPPENED to be next to her. The first funny thing was her asking me for mum and dad's name..

A: what's ur mum's name ah? I forgot.
N: Dinah
A: Oh ya! And what's her husband's name?
N: Hilly
A: Oh Hilly. That's her husband right?
N: Yes. That's her husband.
A: Oh good. And the husband is ur father issit?
N: *speechless* ermm ya! *in my head DUH!, don't we look alike?*

Then she started talking about her maid. How many years she's worked for them, blah blah blah....(I wasn't really paying attention la)..but she suddenly caught my attention when I heard her say SEX.
She was talking to me about SEX?!?! Did she realise how old I was and that it was publicly wrong and embarrassing to talk about it to a stranger (expect for my group of friends lah who would ramdomly just talk about sex or anything but with innuendo pun to it!).She started talking about birth control la, how to be safe, what not to do...etc. I was laughing in my head. *ner's head: Come auntie, let me teach u a thing or two in this day of the world- hahahahaha* But I graciously nodded, pretending that I had no clue what she was talking about, acting innocent (ermm I mean I AM INNOCENT) and that I was indeed learning something. hahaha.
I must say, it was rather an eventful night. hahahaha

I must say that my relationship with Lil J has become rather interesting. You would think that after having at least a long stable relationship, one would more or less be able to read a boy's mind (especially one who's much younger than u). hahaha..but nooo its actually still very HARD. hahaha..but it is actually very stimulating and very challenging. Shaun said that its been a while since I was this happy with my new friend. hahahaha...(stop laughing Lil J..it is a compliment to you but don't get too swelled up). So why is it rather interesting? Well its been a while but yet this has somewhat managed to pull a little string in my heart and its a nice feeling. One can fantasize for a little while.hahaha.. I call this my little holiday affair. hahahaha..Till school starts and there goes my baby...I will get back to reality. =)
So for now, bear with my nonsense. =P
Okay, I admit defeat (I shall be the bigger person), IF you were older, I MIGHT go after you. I mean, who wouldn't right? If you find someone who laughs with you, shares the same thoughts with u (altho scary at times), and is of a good fit, would you be insane to let it go? But that would be another story...
ANYWAYS...that would be part of my fantasy. hahahaha...

Some Random Facts

hmmmm...a proper rebuttal is what he wants. In truth I really can't think of a rebuttal.
So he misses me, the truth is out and I can't deny that..hahahaha..

okay..so since I can't think of a rebuttal, I've decided to try something different.
Here are some random stuff about him that I remember from the Israel trip or from getting to know him better.

1. He was always warm. Not only him, but Josh too. I remembered during the 'Our Father'during our daily masses when we held hands, his hands were always very warm. It was nice! =)
2. He doesn't snore..hahahaha.but wait! I'm also asleep when he is...so I don't really know. But I don't remember hearing him snore.Soo...I conclude, that he doesn't. hahahaha..
3. He's a real gentleman. Very caring and wonderful person inside and out.Something far beyond his 16 years of age.
4. He likes the colour blue. (something I noticed, coz most of his clothes were blue. hahahaha...)
5. He's damn bloody TALL.
6. He's a capricon.
7. He was born in the year of a Monkey.
8. He has a brother name Joshua.
9. He's an Altar Boy.
10. He wears glasses with very little degree..which I think without it, he'd be blind. hahahaha
11. He can make me laugh without knowing it coz sometimes I seriously think we have identical minds.

There are probably alot more things I know about him but I wouldn't risk saying it all out. hahahaha.. But doing this also proves my point that girls are more emotional than men and that men can NEVER say out their feelings..=)

You wait and see...

Hahahaha...for now I have nothing to say.

It was indeed a surprising rebuttal. So news it out, he FINALLY did admit that he misses me. hahahaha..I know, I know! Im a sucker to such appraisals. =P

Its 2am now and not like my brain or mind ever work, but let me sleep on this and think up of a response/rebuttal as we like to call it. But oh! before I end this..I would like to say...I like how he always has to rest assure 'others' that he's not talking about his girlfriend. hahaha...its classic!!!

Went for my first bible study (shutup to all those who gasp...I can HEAR you). YES, indeed it was a first for me. I'm even surprised to see me drag my feet there to church. It was like someone was pulling me there..(ahh...the Holy Spirit has finally decided to grace me). I must say it was rather interesting tho at times it was abit cliche. But time not wasted, I did enjoy myself and probably did managed to learn a thing or two.

After that, we (Ah Sook, A.Ade, Mum, Dad, Justin L, Shaun and a few others) decided to go down to the near by coffee shop for dinner and drinks. To get there...I sat on Ah Sook's lorry. Get this! I sat at the back of a LORRY!!! How FASCINATING was that..hahaha
okokok I know alot of people are saying "u mean it was your first time?". So YES, I admit, I was a lorry-virgin before tonight. It was a fun journey albeit the short ride. I had fun. There were moments I felt as though I was going to be flung out of the truck. hahahaha..What a night..

So now, its time for me to say Goodnight!

My Reply

You know how on facebook you reply to people's msges on their account? Well, I'm replying to an entry that someone wrote about me on his blog...hahahaha.

So at first THIS person was abit reluctant to write up the entry. Saying that 'others' would comment that I'm his new gf or something along those lines..but in the end he wrote up a short and sweet entry regardless of what people thought..or maybe he did want people to know of his special friend. hahahahaha...(he would now say..in his words.."THICCCKKK SKINNNED")..=)

So before I make any comments I would first like to say, I am honoured and a huge thanks for that entry. Although it sounded somewhat similar to something I read somewhere (mmm..wonder where), it was rather sweet. There were moments where I would smile at the sudden trigger of memory.
So as the journey of this friendship grows..I will have more things to write. And till the day he finally admits that he misses me...I will never know..=P (I'm not blackmailing you to say it K)

I'm left with 1 more week till he finally begins school and the next chapter with his life. By then, business would have picked up and I'l be swarmed with work. So 1 more week of playful times and teenage giggles and soon it'd all be over. So yes..iL say it again, I will miss you when you're gone but it'd finally be time for me to kick my ass and work! hahaha...It was fun chatting with you and I will definately be bored without ur 'debates and rebuttals'.hahaha..
WAH! this sounds like as if you're going far far away when in truth u're just a couple of blocks away from me. hahahaha...but once school start, you'll be sucked in with JC life, meet new friends, friends of your age (thankfully! and not some old hag hahahaha.. - yes a decade is 10years not 12!!!)..hahaha

okay its time for my meeting...so have fun and iL be back!!!

More than Friendship than meets the Eye...

So Israel trip was great. I learnt alot about the Lord and I really felt something. Hard to describe but I really felt a presence that has made me want to be closer to my faith. HOLY NER...hahahaha.

So although the trip was 80% old people, there was a group of us termed "young ones" - thanks to Angela, our tour leader- hehehe. It mainly consisted of Me (the oldest and the mastermind of most of the jumping shots), Justin and his brother Josh.
We occupied the back of the bus and nope, we didn't make alot of noise, we slept alot! hahaha..We kept bugging our driver, Noor, to drive us to the nearest KFC for a change of meal. We were getting so sick of the Israeli cold COLD food. hahaha..But as expected, he didn't understand a word we said, and I bet neither did Josh. hahahaha..

Anyways...remaining close as we were, after a long and tiring plane ride (coz those 2 brothers refused to let me sleep, Justin kept poking me whenever I would close my eyes) we bid our goodbyes. They were stopping over at Istabul for a night before returning home to Singapore. Although stubbornly I said I wouldn't miss them, I did. The journey back to Singapore was boring and quiet, but I DID finally managed to get some sleep.hahaha...
I was dead tired, hungry and feeling very dirty when we got back to Singapore. Glad to be home though. =) Friday night went by fast, and I was awaken on Sat morning by the 2 rascals pronouncing their arrival. Amazingly from then on, I got pretty close to Justin(probably becoz he was the freest among all. Josh had school). Chatted with him regularly and meeting up regularly coz he was helping out to do the photo slides which he did with perfection. He was also my saviour from boredom at work. hahaha...Sometimes I laugh and smile to myself at the msgs that he sends and Rayson would think I'm crazy...he'd come over and disturb me saying that I should go home and take my medicine. hahaha..
'Lil Justin' as some friends call him (so as not to get mixed up with Justin Liang).hahaha...Its weird that although he's soo much younger than me (bloody hell!!!)..We click perfectly well..hahaha weird eh?!Its sometimes really scary where we would be thinking off the same thing and he would finish up my sentences. Can you imagine? I actually found someone that does that but he's soo much younger than me?! Bloody hell!!!!Hahahaha...
He's a nice, decent and well mannered boy. Im proud that he did well on his O's and hopefully goes to the right school for his own sake. You never know the people we meet in this day and time (WOW! I sounded like a big Jie Jie). So Justin, if you're reading this..remember this:
You have along way to go before you finish school. This is usually the best time in one's life, the other is when you get married and become a father ( so I hear!)..so enjoy and learn from every experiences that you get, be it good or bad. A lesson someone older taught me: Whatever you do in life, remember to never regret it. So make the right choices which I'm sure you will and enjoy Life!

okok enough of being a big Jie Jie.hahahaha.. So yah..here's the story of how Lil Justin has become such a big part of my life...and Oh yah..*shhh he told me to add this in*..
he won this battle that we had between us. See right, we usually can finish up each other sentences or type in the exact thing we were thinking of. So earlier today, he was telling me something that a priest once told him..that ..the girl will chase him and not he chase the girl coz he's sooo charming. =)
so I asked where's the line of girls that follows this Mr charming?? ahahaha. His reply was that..the line was along East coast till West coast..but none caught his eye..and oh yah, I was in the line too but I didn't catch his eye. Then I rebute saying..but if I was in his line..then why did he come up to my place yesterday to see me? hahahaha...for a minute, he had nothing to say. hahaha..My rebuttal was too good for him, coz it was a fact that he came up to see me. hahaha..Then I reminded him that its difficult to come up with a rebuttal when we both think soo alike. hahaha..then..suddenly by some power, he came up with a rebuttal and said..he said that he came up to tell me that I had no chance to be his GF even if I had Q'd. Then I lent him the book as an apology for not queuing up coz I never showed him face. hahahaha...
SEE LAH!! what I have to go through..hahaha
But he's a really nice kid (opps..dude) and I really really like him. =)

My 2009 Promise!

Indeed time passes by so quickly, no one's going to deny that.It is what we make out of the little time that we have that matters the most.

Its Jan 21st, the month is almost up. Chinese New Year is round the corner and yet the mood doesn't feel right. I was never that fond of CNY apart from receiving the ang baos but I guess maybe people are slowly feeling the reality of the recession.
2009 is going to be a bad year, I can feel it. With recession and unemployment on the rise, what are we to expect? Hmm..maybe I shalln't be so grim about it. Look on the brighter side of things, I have a job that I love and I'm surrounded by people that matters.
So I take it back! 2009 IS going to be a GREAT year! I'll work hard, maybe go back to studying and complete my masters, but most importantly have fun! Life is too short.
Meeting up with 'Happy-Girl' and 'Not so Happy-Boy'..hahaha luckily I don't think Kavan has access to my blog. Heading down to Timbre at substation for drinks and dinner.
Its been ages since I last saw Nad, but the greatest thing about us, is that no matter how long we haven't seen each other, when we meet, its like we just saw each other. Weird huh? She's probably the only one that kept in contact with me ever since I left for Sydney. Thanks babe..I love you for that.
This year, I'm also going to keep in close contact with my friends in Sydney. Its sad that we're all in different parts of the world now, but that doesn't and shouldn't mean anything. We've gone throught alot together and we can definately deal with this. My 2009 promise to you girls, I will be more than a friend to you, I promise always be here when you need me and I will definately keep in touch more often. I love you girls. MUACKS!

2009!

2009 is already here!!! Can you imagine that?! Time just passes by too quickly. Some say time passes by quickly when you're having fun but I can't say that I truly am. But that's just another story for another day yah?!

So its the beginning of another year and what have I done? I wouldn't really condemn 2008 as to be a REALLY bad year but would just say it was a journey filled with different experiences.

Things that happened in 2008:
I went to Japan for the first time.
I left APC to join OCBC only to re join APC again.
I sort of learnt what I want in my life in the career sense.
I turned 25.
I attended 8 weddings.
One of the girls got married and it was such a beautiful thing. (this alone has to be another entry).
I did a pilgramage. I went to the Holy Land.
I definately made alot of new friends.

Things I want in 2009:
I want to love again.
I want to make more money.
I want my career to grow.
I want to be happy.
I want to finally make that trip back to Sydney.
I want to go to Canada for Xmas.

Another year for yet another experience.
