Bon Voyage folks

The Annable Chong play at the Theretical Studio at the Esplanade. It was good. Very refreshing to see that Singapore has started to open up their VERY conservative minds to something that was so against everything Singapore believed in. She was an intelligent student, went to the right schools, but yet she felt she was compelled to do these things. Nothing of which she wanted. She only wanted to make her parents proud and to be number one. She audaciously pioneered many acts that artists use nowadays. She did what most people could only imagine.

My bangkok weekend has come and gone waay to fast. Not enough shopping, not enough Thai delicacies, definately not enough time. Bangkok this time was freaking hot! HOT HOT HOT I tell you. Only 10mins in the sun, you'll be sweating and melting away. Its definately not fun when its that hot. Here's a brief catch up on what I did on my 3days escapade.

Day 1:
Flight was at 6.30am! So woke up at 4am to get to the airport by 5.30. Flight was fully booked but luckily for mama and me, we seat next to us was vacant, so this means more body space for both of us. First funny episode with mama happened on the plane. As it was early in the morning, I fell aslp as soon as my head touched the seat. By the time I woke up, we were already miles up in the sky, about 40mins into our flight. but what amazed me was that next to me was mama with a baby on her lap. I was soo shocked that I almost fell off my seat. Apparently the guy was trying to make milk for the baby but he had no hands to personally look after him so mama took the child in her hands and placed him on her lap. It was hilarious. When we touched down and got to the hotel, we simply just dumped everything in the room and left for jajujat. There was another hot oven. I felt like I was a cake being baked. It was ridiculous. I was literally dripping with sweat! Anyways...didn't do much shopping till later at MBK and Siam. Couldn't get Paweena, must have been wrong number.

Day 2:
Woke up to a really nice breakfast. Mama was eating almost everything that was there. hehehe..funny times. I love you mama. =) Then we attended mass at Church of the Redeemer. Nice quaint church with the cutest priest. He was really old and tiny and he had the cutest walk ever! It was cute...u should have seen him. After that we walked around Pratunam, for more shopping. The heat was really unbearable. It made the shopping a real pain. ARGH! But nonetheless, shopping was achieved, and things were bought. Then met up with Paweena in the afternoon. Paweena's a girl from my work team: CRT. She's my Thai delegate. hehehe..Met up with her for the first time. Really nice bubbly girl, fun to be with.
Thanks Wee for showing me around. We really have to meet up again soon.

Day 3: Nothing much left to do, except for going for a nice BUT short massage. Then it was home.

So again to the hospital today. Doctors ran all sorts of tests on dad. Poor daddy. Imagine a person being treated like subject. such a horrible thought. More to tests needed to be run after our short escapade to Thailand. I really hope everything is fine before I leave for Sydney.

My life..

Its about 3weeks more 'till I'm going back home. Well not exactly home, but to a place where I called home for 5years. I guess Sydney will always be a place close to my heart. I know I bitch alot about that place but truthfully I love Sydney. (maybe its just the fact that I'm happy with anywhere away from my folks).

Anyways...so 3weeks more.Am I excited? Well part of me is. I mean who wouldn't be right? A 2week break from work, seeing all my friends again, seeing those that I love and who mean the world to me..Well there's also a part of me that is quite reluctant to see and pray for it to come. And the only excuse for feeling this way is because I know, that when its time for me to go it also means its time for me to come back.2weeks plus is definately not enough time for me to soak up everything that I've missed out for the past 2years.How on earth am I to possibly catch up on all the gossips in that 2weeks.

Well for starters, IL tell you guys what I've been up to lately so hopefully that will save us abit of time.=)
Work has been alright, stable. Looking forward to the next pay rise which I hope will be in time for my birthday. 'Till then, work is still work and I'm begining to hate Wednesdays. Its a day of back to back meetings.ARGH!
Okay...besides work, I've started giving tuition to 2lovely Secondary 3 (Year 9) students. Guess what I'm teaching?!?! Maths? No...(I can hear some of u sighing in relievement). Its worse than that..I'm teaching English! Imagine me, NER, teaching English..someone just shoot me please..
But in actual fact, its going pretty alright. I'm having fun and thank god, the girls are actually learning something. They're either learning English or their acting skills have improved tremendously.hehehe...Good work Girls!
Now apart from these 2 activities..I've also started doing my own online business (yes..Im trying to be an entrepreneur-fingers cross please). I'm partnering with one of my collegues at work and we've bought a couple of websites. Right now we're searching for suppliers to offer dropshipping. We're scouting for them in Australia, the US and also around Asia. Once we've contacted them we will then work on the sites and I promise to inform you once they're up. Why I'm doing this??
Well its a good chance for me to know more about the business world. Also earning extra money is not going to hurt right?!?! Plus the internet is the best place to make money nowadays. So look out for Extrepreneur 2007 - Miss Nerissa Gail de Rozario. hehehe...
What else has this busy bee been up too...Well, I've also thought of going back to studying, so I've applied for a couple of master programs and to my surprise I got accepted in RMIT to the Masters of Business Information Systems program. This is to start in July and its part time here in Singapore. Currently I'm still debating on whether its the best choice for me or not.
Another thing that I've been doing is looking around for houses here in Singapore. (before you guys wonder 1) how much does this girl earn to look for houses 2) boy! is this girl busy)..hehehe...
firstly no I'm not earning millions. Like I said I'm just looking out. I need to get married to buy a house here. Putting in my bid for a place is allowed but after 6mths of getting the keys IL need to produce my marriage cert. So by my calculations that will leave me about 1yr + to get everthing (as in to find someone to marry) if I want to buy a house. hehehe..Also if I were to get a small 4-room HDB flat, I can use my CPF to start paying it off. (Man do I love CPF...hehehe).
