Life is so unfair! And it always is with people that truly don't deserve it. A very close family friend of ours has been diagnosed with gall-bladder cancer and is given only a yr to live. Imagine having a deadline to your life. I know we all don't know when and where we're gonna die, it could be tommorow or even in 50years time. But having placed a time-line in your life is indeed a very scary thought.So what will you do, how are you going to live?
Well, with that thought hanging heavily on my mind, I've realise that life is way too short to be fearful or angry at certain things. Do things with full compassion and make everything worth your while. (sound so philosophical eh?!). ANYwaay, just be happy and have fun.

As for what I've been up to lately..well, our little Ner (not so little anymore) is finally working. Okay maybe working is not really the right word to use. I'm more like helping out my mum's friend with some stuff in his company. SO, my position currently is as follows:JAVA PROGRAMMER/IT CONSULTANT. Sounds pretty important eh?! hehehe...What my job here is to convert his Delphi softwares to Java platforms. Its alittle hardcore, but slowly I'm getting used to it. Here's the low-down of the company. Its called Emobile. What we do is to provide services through sms. We've built a chip which has our software embedded in it. Currently our business is mainly based in Jarkarta. So with your mobile, you can do simple transactions (e.g checking bank balance, funds transfer, blah blah..). Other services our we provide is allowing customers to use their mobile like VISA cards (direct debit). So for example, when you go to one of our merchants (i.e restaurant) and you're about to pay your bill. All you have to do is to give your mobile num. The restaurant will then send an sms to the bank, which will in return sms u for confirmation of the payment and your pin. And VIOLA! you've paid your bill. Well there're more services that we provide but I'll spare you the boring details. For those interested, well just email me. hehehe...

I'm coming HOME!!! After 15weeks of being back in sunny Singapore, I'm dying to go HOME! I know Singapore is truly home and I love it here (don't get me wrong) but I guess it's the getting used-to-be-back-here thing that is getting to me. I've been gone for 5 years. I've built a life there. Coming back here, meant I had to leave everything back there.My friends, my family, and a chapter of my life. Many will call this a part of life and that this is all a part of growing up. I miss everyone back there.

Fine, its easy making new friends,but making ones that will last and mean as much as those in Sydney - impossible!! Okay maybe I'm over dramatising, but everytime I meet a new person, I find it such a cumbersome to introduce yourself, telling them about what you've done, why you chose to do that..and stuff like that. Its painstaking I tell you. Its worst when you've got a problem and you need to talk to someone (other than your parents) about it. But THERE's NO ONE HERE!!! Imagine I have to tell them all the things leading/relating to the problem before I can tell them about the problem.Sigh..I miss you guys!! Even my old high school friends are so different now, its like we have this 5year gap between us. I'm glad Coral is back. Finally someone who understands me. But I've been pretty busy as well so haven't really had the chance to meet up with her proper.*ner makes a date (Must meet Coral)*

Anyways, yes I'm coming home!! It'd be a short one but we'll make it last. PARTIES PEOPLE!! Its ARTICULATE time!!! hehehe...I can imagine, Mags getting her 'leather' clothes ready, her milk shaking drinks, Thomas's intimate relation with Mark's venus-fly-trap. HAhaha..Classic memories man. So its a date, we're definately going to play Articulate!! Here's the plan..I'll be arriving with my folks on the 27th Oct (thurs) and we'll be leaving a day after my grad 5th (Sat). Well for those that can count (def not me!!!), you can see that I barely have 8days to hang with you guys. So please please please for my sake, keep your days free k!!!

Reasons Y I was MIA

okay so this is the truth to why i was away in action for ages. The story of my life for the last week or so.

9th July
Early in the morning, bid a very tearful farewell to all my loved friends and my sweetheart. I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for being there that morning. (I'll reimburse you guys for the airport carpark thing k!) It meant so much to me, more than words could every describe it. I know now that I'm truly blessed to have you all as friends. Boarded my flight SQ220 with Pascal. Just as soon as I got on I konked out, even before the plane could take off. I guess the emotions and the tireness won. Halfway through the flight, I woke up to find Pas asleep. This is when i took the chance to re-read all the msgs you guys left in my book and tears fell once again. I will truely miss you guys (i already do!!).
Touched down hot and humid Singapore with a bang. Had bleeding nose. ARGH! Pas said it had to be becoz of the pressure and the heat. So slowly we made our way through customs and out to my awaiting parents and Debs. Was in a rush so made plans to meet another day with Debs then headed home to pack once again. got home, packed what i needed for Bangkok, had a nice cold shower then went for dinner. Ate my all time favourite : Wonton Mee. YUM!!
Then at 8pm we left for Bangkok, so once again i was on a plane.

10th-13th July
was away in Bangkok where days were simply filled with Shopping, Eating, Sleeping, Shopping, Eating & sleeping. Had great fun there. Really want to go back there again. I shall and I will!

14th July
Early morning, we went to get a phone for little miss ner. New num : (+65) 8157 4407. Got my samsung D500!! YAAY!!!...a really nice 'sick' phone.

15th July
Went to Sim Lim to get myself a new computer desktop. A really good buy i must add. So went home to play around and started installing softwares. Then in the evening, met Nadia and went for a career fair. nothing much to see. just went to have a feel of the job market. things are pretty alright here. i should stand a good chance to get a job.

16th July
Went to get a new car. We GOT a new car. its a hyundai Tuscon 4WD. A big car compared to our Nissan Sunny (Pulsar). No don't get me wrong, its NOT my car. its a family car but i'll be driving it more. hehehe...

17th July
Spent the day with family.

18th- now
Been cleaning up the house and running around meeting old friends that I have not seen for years (8yrs!).

so there...that's to why i haven't been updating my blog nor being online as often as i should be.

hey guys, soo sorry I haven't been blogging. As everyone know that I've had a very busy week travelling back from Sydney to Bangkok then finally back HOME!

Well things have been nothing but a bliss. Bangkok was GREAT!! Shopping shopping shopping.
Eating Eating Eating..Now with that done, its time to get down to business. Mum's got jobs align for me. Singapore..here I come!!

Hey Hey fellow friends, well the time has come for me to say goodbye. Yup this is it, I'm done with Uni and I'm heading home. Its sad I know but hey when one chapter ends another begins. So I'll like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that I've met in my journey here.

1) I'll like to thank my parents for supporting me through the years. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you mum n dad. I love you!

2) Mark. For believing in me and carrying me when I had given up. Thank you for being my teacher, my lover and my best friend. I love you and I will for the rest of my life.

Mags>> 'Sleeping' with you was an experience that I would never forget. All the funny classic events ('Andy' or the 'fishy fishy fishy'). For being my pillar of hope and just by being you made my life here a better place to be in. I will never forget all the times we've spent goofing around and all the special moments we've shared.

Adez>> The times we spent at Unilodge was unforgettable. Remember the nights when you would come knocking on my door with a toothbrush. Those were the days! Thank you for being there when I needed support and giving me advice when I was lost. Oh yah how can I forget, thank you for sharing clothes with me! =) Miss 'Moo Moo' pants.

Debz>> My hardworking and determined friend. I've tried so hard to be so like you but I always never seem to get it right. I guess it takes alot to be someone like you and I'll always be there trying to learn. Thank you for the times when you took care of me when I was sick, for helping me learn and for cooking all those delicious desserts. Girl! you have to cook for me sometime soon.

Nel>> Nelly Nelly!! What can I say. Thank you for just being you. You have brought so much fun in my life. Thank you for all the times that you would just sit and listen to me blabber on. Thanks for all the shopping therapy and just the chill out sessions that we have.

Well girls, its been a long journey for us all and there's more to come for sure. i'm just going to leave you guys for a while but I promise I'll be back. I love you girls, you've been my everything for the last few years.

4) The boyfriends and the brother. Yes, that's mainly you Pascal, Robs and Nav.

Pas>> Well I guess if it wasn't for me to invite Pas to join our circle of friends, you both would have to find another way to get close. =) Thanks Pas for pushing me to Mark at UTS and getting to know his name. I guess we're even huh.

Robs>> Thank you for being my little brother. Im going to miss all the jumping up and down, playing with the 'light saber', 'dragonball' and those dance moves. hehehe..Now waking up to pee in the middle of the night won't be same without finding you out there. =P

Nav>> We've only known each other a short time but I'm rest assured that Mark is well taken care of. Seeing those loving stares you give him make me realise that you 'love' him. hehehe..

5) For the rest of the friends that I've missed. Thank you for making my journey here alot worth while.

hey hey people..well I kinda got a piece of good news. I'm staying for 1 more day!! Yaay!! hehehe...well I found out that Mr Pascal Bobillier is leaving for Singapore the day after my original flight back home so I managed to squeeze another day and catch the same flight as him!
Hip hip Horray...now Mags is trying to come up with reasons for me to stay here longer..Hahaha...Keep trying girl. Its not me you have to convinced.
